When does the delivered email get sent?

I am asking what triggers the email. The delivery truck or the dealership?

Not sure what triggers it, but I got my email from Ford over night, but dealer hasn't called stating the car is "here". I can only assume the car was delivered sometime yesterday.......

Sure seems like the delivery company triggers the email, not the dealer.
Why this is interesting is if you get the email over the weekend when your dealer is closed, you know you can go look at it before the dealer notifies you.

Some dealers in my area get most deliveries in the early morning hours, before 6AM - I guess the truck drivers want to take advantage of hours in the day with the least traffic. Not sure if I want to show up at 4AM, even if I know in advance that my car is coming. ?
