If range is not an issue then preconditioning is not an issue. I keep my car in a heated garage so I never precondition. If I kept it outside in the winter and I knew when I was departing each day say for work I would set a departure schedule though I think.Has anyone figured out at what sense theres a net benefit NOT to pre-charge? If I'm just doing a really short trip (5min), I'm guessing that theres more energy usage in total from pre-conditioning since I'm not going to reap much benefit from the conditioned battery during such a quick journey.
