If automobiles are slowly switching to EV's then there has to be some kind of EV race like NASCAR. Right?!?!

If you are in need of a professional racing place, you can visit my personal page, there will be things to help your favorite car refurbish the application.

Is there a track anywhere that has an EV night where we can open up the accelerator for a bit? I live near Detroit (the motor city).
So the best place to just wide open throttle your EV is Track Night in America where they have open tour/parade laps that are free to the public. Sometimes you will be stuck with a slow group (there was a Wrangler Rubicon in front of me once) but most times you can open it up.

Autocrossing (which I've done in most of my EVs) is not for speed per se. It's more technical driving. There are tracks that have open track days on weekends or you can join CHIN track days or SCCA.

HP DE + HV JB = more than a couple weekends off from racing!

Tried this link, all of the local tracks ban EVs.

Those rules don't apply to the parade/tour lap as any car (including trucks) can drive on the track. I do know a few tracks have banned EVs for the racing portion.

Yes.

SCCA Track Nights [some] allow EV's (But I hated it cause of the power cut, not one lap was possibly without the car tuning on 50% jail bars)

HPDE (High Performance Driving Education) and Performance Driving classes - many allow EV's

AutoCross (Summer and Winter) - locations and events are all over.

Road America WinterX events are higher speed than many summer AutoCross events. This was a few weeks ago, the run started at Canada Corner and ran to near 14. Top speed for me was over 80.

organizes track events. I messaged them and some tracks (Grattan) allow EVs. A facebook post said Waterford does not (they said because of insurance)

Detroit SCCA Autocross
I did a pre-season event and sitting in a newbie class right now. I plan to run all season. There is a veteran who runs a Model 3 that I’m told is fast.
