Where is the Tesla Adapter??

I'm not too worried about adapter risk... You can get a CCS to Tesla adapter that lets you charge a Tesla at an EA station today... I first saw one at an EA station more than a year ago being used by the techs fixing the EA hardware... while charging their Tesla.

I don't recall hearing about any fires from these... They are only carrying current about 6 inches.

Yes and I'll bet the EA techs were using the one available from Tesla.

It would be nice if Ford did us a solid like that. Based on the price of J1772 to NACS adapters for destination chargers, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

As mentioned elsewhere, if 30k Ford points (that one might get having the HVJB replaced) it could cover a large chunk of that adapter price bringing it to about $100. At least for the 21~22's that have the HVJB recall. YMMV

Isn't the Tesla NACS to J1772/CCS adapter some $250? The J1772 only adapter is $50.
I doubt we will get a J1772/CCS to NACS adapter for $100. It will more likely be around $250.

No. We have discussed that ad nauseam. It will not be free. Ford has stated it will be available for purchase on the Ford Accessories site.

"Soon" was first invented by Tesla. Owners realize it could be "later" as my Job 1 is still awaiting the official notice to visit the dealer for the hvbjb recall.
