Why did I get pulled over?

Early 2000s my brother drove a modified Ranger and was trying to sell it. A cop pulled him over because he saw the for sale sign in the window and wanted to ask some questions about it as he was in the market for a car for his son. No pretending there was another reason to pull him over, just "hey, I saw the for sale sign..." (cop did not buy the truck).

Nope, live in CT. It's not a one way street... No one is really sure why they put the sign up, guess I should have asked!

Maybe there was a turn lane further down the road.. Some roads have the turn lane to prevent stopping in the driving lanes.
