Why do all the trackers lag so much?

Got our production date and VIN from the dealer a week ago, and since then have been checking the VIN and order number in all the trackers, both Ford and not. None of them even show the production date, just the order accepted date, and I get "Can't retrieve this VIN" messages.
What's wrong with these trackers that they don't return the latest data? Is Ford blocking access?

Until 1 week before your build date your VIN doesn't exist outside of a backend database that linked it to your order. Once you get to 1 week before it'll get loaded to other databases and your window sticker will exist. You likely just need to "hurry up and wait".

No, Ford isn't blocking access.

Did you reserve online? If so, you should see your estimated build date (also known as build week) on the reservation status page. The other trackers do not display that date. And they will not show a production date until your vehicle has actually gone into production. Finally, the tracker advertised on this forum does not work until your window sticker is generated which usually does not happen until the week before your build week.

Yeah, with the tracker here (still the best with all info involved, I think), I got nothing until my actual build week (not even the week before like most others). It's just a waiting game.

My build week as already came and went, 7/18.
Order status doesn't say built but using the tracking tool on this website it says ,

ETA End Date	2021-09-14
Production Date	2021-07-24

end date has changed twice from 9/9 to 10/31 to now 9/14.

Mine was supposed to be the same build week. It still just shows as "In Production". No idea if it was built or not.
I contacted the dealer and they said there have been no updates for them either.

Did you put your VIN in the tracker? it might show the ETA end date. When I put mine in the tracker it says "Can't retrieve this VIN" but if I hit the button again it pulls it up.

Yeah, I did that and there's no production date there either.
