I agree with many of the points made above:
  1. If you like it, negotiate. I think it's overpriced by around $4-6K, at least based on similar models and a quick check of what you can buy online and locally near me.
  2. Definitely check if it's a Job 1 vs Job 2. Those of us who got these in '21 know that the factory in Mexico shut down in August to re-tool and improve certain manufacturing processes. The Job 2 cars which were built after the shutdown are better built and are theoretically supposed to have all the gear necessary for the next version of Bluecruise (whenever that comes out...)
  3. The warranty is an important component that I'm not sure I'd skip out on. That said, all of my warranty work (which was not very extensive) was done in the first year and the car has been FLAWLESS since then. My only real concern - and it's minor - is the battery but that's covered under the longer 8 years/100,000 mile warranty.

a used 2021 makes a lot of sense if you can get it for $25k and then get a $4k tax credit

Ford never specified the brand of glass. They just said that the front driver and passenger windows were “acoustic glass”. I’m not sure which model year lost that.
It’s Ford-branded glass with the name “Soundscreen” on it. ?‍♂?

I would buy the 2021……. But offer $5k less than what they’re asking.
That would be about right, I have one with 41k miles and trade in value was initially 23k but when I pushed back it went up to 26k lol, Not much better considering I bought it brand NEW so finding out how much the value dropped definitely didn't sit well...
