Will an outlet adapter work?

I have ordered a Mach-E. I have a dedicated 240V 50A circuit in my garage. Currently, though, it has a L6-30R outlet. Would this adapter work with the Ford Mobile Charger? Thanks.

Why do they even sell this?! Trying to plug a 50A device into a 30A circuit is not just tempting fate, but inviting it.

They are selling this for a pretty specific use case. Namely, hooking a portable generator with a 30 amp 240v outlet to your camper. the generator is current protected at 30 amps, so there’s no chance of over current it the outlet.

This is a horrible idea to use to run en ESVE. I would be seriously concerned about even trying to run a 24 amp one on this.
