Still looking for the right tire (and size)... but my wheels showed up! One of the dealers had these on sale already, so I grabbed them a couple months ago (took a while to ship/deliver).

Just ordered some Vredestein Wintrac Pro tires. It's early but I'll be ready to go when the temperature drops.

I'll also be ceramic coating the wheels before they go on. Want that snow/ice/salt to wash up super easy.

Sweet...I went with hankook ion i*cept. Then bought a 2nd set of stock GT wheels that someone took off after 100 miles ($600 for 4 wheels w/ sensors installed)

Dang, Tire Rack is fast! Ordered these literally yesterday afternoon. Obviously not going to need them anytime soon, but I'm going to get them mounted and balanced soon so I can ceramic coat them and be ready to go when it gets cold.

Coincidentally, I also ordered new wheels for my wife's Forester for her snow tires (existing ones are corroding and starting to cause leaks. Will be ceramic coating them too.

Going to have a set of GT wheels available with Nokians snow tires on them shortly. Have about 8k on the Nokians. In colorado near denver.

This wintrac pros are perfect for the MME. I have been running them for the past 6 winters. They are the best winter tire for the type of winter conditions here in the states.
