So we took the family camping this year, utilizing the fold down seats for a sheltered sleeping area, but those darn blue map lights... they won't turn off. Believe it or not this can make sleeping a challenge, as you can cover the screens easily with a fabric of any kind, but not so easily with the map lights.
After giving it some thought, what would the most effective yet cheap solution be? No, not a cordless drill. Actually, these do the trick very nicely.

In light:
Now anytime I want or need the map lighting it's an easy slide over of the cover. And it's small enough that it fits perfectly, and when open does not obstruct the light. Did I mention it's also cheap? ?
The adhesive was light enough that I was able to adjust it to ensure it's pretty straight, but not heavy enough that I would be concerned with any long term residue.
Happy modding!
