Hey guys, I went on a 175 mile trip today and started at 93% with the avg kwh at 3.7. Now the car shows 109 miles range left with 39% battery. The mileage estimate is clearly off as it's estimating 2.8 kwh when I've been driving all day way above that. Is this normal?

Are you now driving uphill, or above 70 mph?

First off welcome

The Guess O Meter has some challenges and works best if you drive the exact same way (temperature, speed, frequency of stops, acceleration, hills etc.) everyday. So changes can cause it to be off by a wide margin till it does some learning.

As you know by now, EVs do better in town at low speeds than on the highway in terms of miles per KWh... Speed really sucks down range (drag increases by the square of velocity so 75 is much worse than 60 when it comes to range)

Anyway, the GOM tends to be pessimistic but it is only a forward looking estimate.
