Placed order online June 30, and selected my local dealer, who confirmed everything with me and I had the Dealer accepted order status in my Ford reservation page. Just got the following email and have no idea what is going on now!



YOUR SELECTED FORD DEALER HAS CHANGED.
Hello Jesse ,
There has been a change of ownership with your selected Ford Dealer, but don’t worry, this will not affect your current vehicle status. With this ownership change, your $1,000 deposit will be refunded. Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to process. No new reservation deposit is required.​

I clicked a link to Review Refund Status and it brings me to the reservations page and it says this:

SORRY TO HIT THE BRAKES
We apologize for the inconvenience, but isn't accepting Mustang Mach-E orders at this time. Though no need to worry - your Order number of 11049042 for your Mustang Mach-E PREMIUM is still good. This just means you should select a new dealer to continue your order to get back in the fast lane.
Find New Dealer

When I go to select a dealer, it says Internal Error….

now I feel like I just lost my 2 months of waiting so far…

You're good. This is actually good news. You're getting your deposit back, yet your vehicle is still in the order funnel and still tagged with your name.

Check your credit card for the refund during these next few days. And call your dealer to confirm your order is still in tact as it was before.

Same situation, in California. My deposit has been refunded to my credit card. Spoke to the dealer; he says I'm still good. Assuming that by "good" he means that after 14 weeks I have no VIN and no scheduled production week. In other words, just like everybody else.
