Hey all,

Sean at Serramonte Ford here. Just got in a 2025 Select with the comfort lite pack. Thought I'd share some photos of the new model updates.

New Shifter stalk means the wiper controls get modified and moved to the turn signal stalk. This feels solid, and I think won't get accidentally activated too often.

New Monostable Shifter. Works as you'd expect, tactile feedback is good. I for one prefer this change.

Manual AC charge rate override is new! I think we knew this was coming, but still a great feature to have. I have not checked to see if this is configurable through FordPass or only on the vehicle.

Along with the AC charge rate comes the new global target charge slider, which we knew was coming.

New IPC screen. This is the Engage mode, Battery Bar, Range and percentage all in one section on the side of the screen, also we now get a power meter on the right.

So, I really like this. My wife's phone charger is connected to the front USB ports and the damn cable gets in the cupholder and generally in my damn way all the time.

In place of the shifter in the console, you get a cubby with a deep phone holder. At the bottom is a hole that leads to the below photo underneath the rubber insert. the cable can be routed to the center console where the 12v and two USB Cs are located. This lets you run a short cable, plug it in and drop it in the console. Wireless charge pad still there.

Unexpected surprise! Frunk button on the key! I'll have to get the part number and see if I can program one to my 2023 and see if it works!

Charging Stuff.

You can now see charge rate in the upper right of the center display. Amps and KW.

Global target charge is same in the app as it is in the vehicle.

Frunk button on key wasn’t documented anywhere before this. Nice find!

But also weird they added it on the 2025 with a much less usable frunk…. ?
To remind you of the useless frunk

That left stalk is ridiculous now. WAY too much going on there. And I'm not sure if I see a "mist" option for the wipers anymore? Or maybe it's just not visible? You know... the single wiper swipe without turning the wipers on?

Uh oh the speedometer is still right of center on the IPC.......I'm gonna go grab my torch and pitchfork who's with me!!!
They moved it closer to the center, which kills my irritation with it being partially obfuscated. All in all, a good change. I am not sure I like the power meter being on the far right but I'll have to drive one for a bit to see if it's annoying there. It looks low enough so that it's probably fine. ?‍♂?

Apparently it must have been impossible to put the charge rate on the instrument cluster while charging. Otherwise I don't see why they would choose to put it on the center screen.

Is that rear wiper control 2-speed? ??
Yes, same as before. Intermittent and continuous.

I think the end of the stalk, push in quickly, hold for spray

Too many functions on one stalk. It just looks so clunky.
'80s and '90s GM vehicles had a similar array of functions on the stalk: Turn signal, wipers, washer, high/low beam, cruise control. I even drove a car that had all of the headlight functions on the turn signal stalk (On/Off/Auto, along with High/Low). Talk about a cluster of functions...??

I've heard a lot of people complain about all the functions on one stalk, but I also grew up with 90s GM vehicles and am very used to it. Those old GM cars even had the cruise control functions on the same stalk as well!
