Finally got around to installing the armrest that I custom ordered from Miguel @miguelmix. In my '21, I had an auto upholstery shop recover the armrest and they did a great job of closely matching the Ford Performance Gray interior of the GTPE. Since I was purchasing several other items for my '24 from Miguel thought I would order this from him too. The difference is, he sells the entire armrest so I didn't need to be without mine for a couple of weeks. Also, he uses the Chinese version which is not tapered at the end (it's 1.25" wider) and looks/feels a bit more substantial.

I wanted the leather and Alcantara to match the interior including the silver stitching and he did a great job. You can never get the colors perfect unless you're using the same exact materials but it's close enough. I wanted the pattern to be the same and didn't want any custom embossing or stitching like "GT". Also had him add slightly more padding so it feels nicer to the touch. It's super easy to remove/install armrest. Lift up fully, pull off the two plastic hinge covers, remove two bolts, one on each hinge and lift out armrest.

Difference in size/shape between OEM and Chinese armrest:

@markboris Whoever is going to buy this car after your lease is over will be a lucky sob! You should come up with a Mustang Mach-E MB Edition for another 10-15 grand.

Don’t the lease holders generally pull off all non-oem parts.
I would/will if I add any. Just requires keeping the original equipment stored somewhere.

I'd consider a cover for the armrest, as that tends to be a wear area. Haven't dove into that side of the parts pool yet, but welcome any links to something simpler/cheaper. As good as this looks, my base model select is an appliance to me.

Just look at how extensive his mods are on his showcase page. There’s no way they’re pulling all this stuff off. Most of it is invisible anyway. But, well done and a huge improvement.

I appreciate all aspects, especially the wireless console. I will have to create one for myself soon. I love it, and it happened because of you.

So here's the thing Steve, I had every intention to purchase my previous Mach-E when the lease was up but after seeing the deals that were going on with the '24's, I decided to check it out and instead of paying off the ballon payment, just traded it in. After doing so, 3 friends of mine almost shit because they said they would have bought the car. It happened really quick. I called the dealer around 7 pm, made the deal, docusigned, went the next day and traded cars. ?

Generally, yes but many of my mods are kind of hidden. You can view my '21 GTPE showcase at the bottom of this post and see what I put into it and since I literally had only a few hours from making the deal to trading in the car, I only removed a few things. The JL Sub, Lloyds custom mats, rear seat back and cargo floor all-weather covers and replaced the custom painted Ford Oval on the liftgate with the OEM GT emblem. Everything else stayed. I also detailed the car perfectly inside and out. The dealer did swap my wheels/tires though.

I do keep some original equipment that you can see like the armrest, OEM floor mats, steering wheel, etc.
