My custom GT wheels aero cover removal + center cap install

I took the gt wheel and took off the aero cover and I cut it down and smoothed it out to make a plastic to make a center cap. Below are three photos of what it looks like. The center cap is part of the aero cover btw. It’s all one
-with the aero cover
-without the aero cover
-and how it looks when I finish my cap
My finished version is in the middle photo.
*no I did not install them without the center cap in. That is just an example photo from the internet

I love the way they look but how do you ensure that the integrity of the wheel is not compromised under so much weight? And I'm assuming that you would have to get your wheels rebalanced?

So now that they are back on the car… no center cap?

I want to do this but I am waiting for someone to sell a gloss black center cap that matches and fits.

I’m confused - which pictures are the before and after? The only difference I see is the hub cap is missing in the second picture?

The second picture is the finished product, He essentially removed the Aero covers from the wheel and made them into center caps, Pic 3 is what it would look like if he just removed the Aero covers. Look at the center cap between the two.

I honestly don’t know how you made it this far in life. The fact you can’t figure out what the e difference is after being provided a description and three photos. Yikes

But why no pic of the result with the caps on the car? It’s confusing because in the third pic they are on the car and it makes it seem like that’s the end result when it’s the same as just removing the covers.

OP where’s the final pic so we can all admire your work??

I think what's left out from the explanation is that the center cap comes out when the aero cover is removed, so OP managed to pop the center cap back on even after removing the aero cover.
