Due to weight of the vehicle yes
That’s not what the video says. Any tire with the correct load rating (and size, speed etc) is fine.

When my OEM Michelins wear out, I am going to get Run Flat Tires (RFT) ASAP.

Can't stand having to use a mobility kit.

Would rather drive up to 50 miles to get to a tire store.

The recommended tires are also low rolling resistance designed for energy efficiency.
Anyone actually watch this video? Presenter specifically says that there are regular replacement tires that are not EV specific with lower rolling resistance than some EV specific tires.

Wasn't there a thread on here a couple weeks ago with the exact opposite conclusion? EV-specific tires have more noise reduction features and stiffer sidewalls to retain handling at the higher vehicle weights.

Seems like many did! That's ok but the video really does dispel some of the myths we hold regarding EV tires.

Summary:

No.

Any other more specific questions or concerns - it depends, YMMV - literally.
Buy tires based on your use case.

Not surprised it’s no different for EVs.

The tires literally don’t care what type of fuel propels your car.

My next tires will be purchased with warm weather performance being the #1 criteria. Others will have different needs.

I recently put Bridgestone RFTs on my Bolt and the energy efficiency took a 10-15 hit. I am purchasing EV OE tires next time and hope I never get a flat.
