First GTPE Trip After Upgrading From GT

When I got my 21 GT I went on a few mini road trips, so naturally now that I have the GTPE I decided to go on the same trips to see how it compares.

The one I went on yesterday was over the mountains (Stevens Pass) to Leavenworth, WA and back. With the GT I started at 100%, had 60% when I arrived, and after an 80% charge at the destination, about 43% when I got home. With the GTPE I had 56% when I arrived, and 39% when I got home. So not too much of a range loss.

The ride was more comfortable with the Magneride, and the seats were more comfortable in the GTPE.

My GT was Shadow Black and very shiny, and I always expected more comments on it, but I actually got more comments yesterday on my Space White, with a couple people actually taking pictures of it, wasn't expecting that. I also saw a few other MMEs on the trip, including a Vapor Blue premium waiting for a charging spot.

Since my GTPE is new, and I am first owner, I actually have Plug & Charge and 250kWh free charging, so got to actually see that in action, which was cool.

The views never get old, so not a boring trip by any means. Just another fun trip in the MME.

I love the look, I am thinking of giving my daughter my shadow black stang (minus my 22’s) and get myself a GTPE. I was thinking about the grabber blue, but this color looks amazing.. now I don’t know which color I want

It's tough, I would have never even considered this color until I saw it in person and fell in love with it. Can't wait to see what you do.

Well now I know what my car would look like on a scenic trip to WA. Congrats on your upgrade!

No, not too much - roughly 10%. But that is significantly greater than the ~4% difference in EPA range ratings. It's only a couple of anecdotal data points, but still, kind of interesting.

I found the seats felt different, but equally comfortable, and I would definitely appreciate a smoother ride with the Magneride.

The Space White is really an amazing color, especially as it fluctuates with various lighting. I had a '23 Grabber Blue GT ordered, when I found a '22 Premium in Space White become available. I ended up jumping on the '22 because we knew it would still get the full tax credit (this was October 2022) while I waited for my '23. Well lots of variables changed in the market and when the day came to take delivery of the '23 parked next to my '22 Space White, beyond the financial differences with market fluctuation, there was no way I was going grabber blue over Space white.

The funny thing too is when I first started looking into the Mach E's I swore I was getting a "grille" graphic on my Premium. But with this color etc. I have grown to love the look as is. I still do wish I had the GT bumper, but as another post recently showed, its like $10k+ to swap at list price....so yeah I'm good.

I’ve got a feeling that at least Premium Editions will have a Magnaride option for ‘24, if not standard equipment, with all the criticisms the stock suspension has received.
