So just easier to connect to wifi? I am guessing improvement to in car browser to handle landing pages?

Looks like they added support for captive portals so you can connect to Starbucks wifi for your next power up update.... Or to watch the today show I guess.

Just logic. Ford wouldn't have conspicuously left 2021 and 2022 cars out of the BlueCruise 1.2 announcement if they had any intention of rolling it out to them in a matter of weeks.
