Pan was already a clean nut when I bought the car from him. When I first saw the car in 06 i told him was going to buy his car one day. 3 years later i was looking to buy a car, saw he was selling it, the post was a week old, gave him a deposit and took ownership of the car 2 months later. Didnt even take it for inspection or anything, i knew the car was in great shape and I am still driving it today. Im not a fan of his videos though. There's something that just bugs me about his videos.

Just took a Mach E premium AWD for a test drive this afternoon. It was great to finally get to drive one in person.
Im sure everyone will want a few bits of feedback but I’ll try keep it short.
Drives great, lots of power, fast off the line but does fade above 100km like I’ve read. Smooth ride and very comfortable. The seats are great but the controls for the seats require a little fussing to get the right location. I think it has to do with the fact it doesn’t have a tilt up/down for the front of the seat. You can get the right spot but have to play with the up/down and front back more.
It looks smaller than expected on the outside but bigger on the inside. I’m 6’ and the backseat behind my seat settings is really comfortable. No concerns with adults in the back.
I found the nav system a bit clunky for the 2 minutes I had to try and set a route to get to the highway. But I’m sure you will get use to it. The voice recognition nav did not work the one time I tried it, but I also didn’t have my phone hooked up whichI believe it uses to improve the voice recognition. The lane centering was easy to turn on and take over from when needed.
car is crazy quiet inside the cabin, they did a great job on it. The visibility from the driver seat is great, good shoulder check and rear mirror room. The side mirrors are a touch small for my preference, but I’m coming from a VW Atlas 7 seater so I’m sure it’s just what I’m use to. Also, the trunk is a really good size, a bit smaller than my wife’s VW Tiguan but no much. The Frunk however is crazy small. With the dividers not much room for more than some washer fluid and maybe some emergency kits like blankets, cones and others.
Overall very happy and excited for mine to come in later this month!

Picked up ours (Premium, AWD, extended range) a little over a week ago, 1 hour North of GTA. No charging stations in town aside from the Ford dealership down the road so planning to get something set up at home when we can get an electrician out.
Put in the pre-order downpayment December 2019 and totally thought production would be delayed so a nice surprise to get it on time. Weathertec mats not an option right now.. has anyone gotten the Ford mats, how are they working out?

I have but they were not install for our test drive. Pick it up on Tuesday and can let you know a bit after if no one else pipes in. Can not see why they would not work the package came with the rear tray. You need L2 at home with one of these large batteries. It was the breaker that my electrician had a hard time obtaining this summer when we got ours install. Weird times.

I don't have a delivery date yet from my dealer in Toronto but yesterday I got an email about setting the Syrius account for the car. It had the radio number on the email. Syrius think I got the car Feb. 1 as it shows the 3 months free expiring May 1

There's no need for Ford option in Canada. This is intended for US people who wants a lease but also wants the $7,500 US federal tax cut, cause without the Ford option they can get a regular lease but then the car owner is Ford Credit so the buyer don't get that $7,500 tax credit. Has far has buying or leasing I'm still not sure yet, the only thing I'm sure off is that I would like to keep this car for 8 to 10 years. So buying seems obvious but has we know technology will make the battery range and the price of EV's more affordable in 4 to 5 years, some even says at par with ICE. So in my situation it's a hard decision based on my age. But definitely if I would be younger a lease would be my choice for the tech reason and also for the fact that we don't know yet how reliable will be the Mach E. Also the value of the MME on the used cars market is an unknown for now so at least with a lease you have a certain protection and guaranteed price value at which you can buy back the car if you wish. So this is an all personnal decision depending's on each one situations at this momnent and in 4 years projection from now.

Well the advantage of options from what I read is that you can refinance whats left at the exact same interest rate for 36months so in essence it becomes a 7yr finance, and you'll get the a better interest rate than leasing and financing the residual at the end of the lease.

Well I don't know of anything comparable here, at least the Ford calculator doesn't show anything of that sort.

Tech will improve it always does. At a certain point something just works for you and better is not required. I also like to keep my vehicles for awhile as they are just a depreciation. I think with the outlook of less maintenance for ev's we should be able to keep them for awhile? Trade them in if there are a lot of problems I guess but it feels solid at first test. Does not mean it will not be hard on ball joints or something else. I hope this one will be good for the 8 to 10 years and the 4x should meet our needs for awhile. This one is new so a bit of a crap shoot but it is a Ford which is one of our old big 3 and I think this is the kind of tech we will be progressing towards. Who knows we maybe buying one of Fords first; in 2030 they may be saying that they don't build them like the use to back in 2021 ;).

I don’t think you can lease the MME in Canada. At least not in Ontario anyways

As of 2 weeks ago, I was told leasing not available in Ontario, only Quebec. My first Ford, no loyalty options so the financing I was offered was 4.99%/72mos I think. Bank not better, so just purchased it.
