After reading others doing the rally springs on theirs, I did the same on my 23 ER AWD Premium about 6 weeks ago. The local dealership here in CO Springs was able to accommodate just fine maybe because suspension work is more normal here.

I’ve really been able to tell an improvement on these super rough and pot hole marked roads in southern Co. No, it’s not a caddy, but it’s far more livable like my wife’s Cx-5. As much as I’d want to get the magneride, this will suffice for this be a long-term vehicle.

Thanks to everyone who bit the bullet as alpha testers for the rest of us.
did you also get an alignment?

Yes with half of that being labor to install and an alignment. Front Springs $160 pair, rear springs $180 pair, sway bars $550 pair. $890 plus tax for parts.
Thanks so much for the quick response and the break down, very much appreciated.

Yeah, as is standard for any work like that. I get alignments whenever I switch out my summer and winter wheels too.

Glad to hear that the prices of the version B rear springs came back down for others.

You are welcome and I just added the torque specs for each fastener.

So I’m guessing 2k give or take would cover the Springs, sway bars, installation and alignment? Just trying to ball park it.
The installation took Mark and me about four hours total for just the springs. I think the sway bars took maybe two hours if I remember correctly, though it might go faster when done with the springs. So odd figure a day in the shop to get both done, plus the alignment. Labor rates vary considerably, you’ll need to do the local calculations.

@JohnFoxeSheets I see your added comment "EDIT #2: I realized that I didn’t mention that on rough roads/streets at speeds below 25-30 mph, the improved ride of the Rally springs is less pronounced. There’s still a noticeable improvement, but they’re certainly not butter smooth."
I see you have a GT, and we recently moved from a 2022 Ext AWD Premium with the typical HORRIBLE ride to a 2025 Rally and couldn't be happier with the ride on the rough roads at slower speeds. The roads in Austin are terrible, and the Rally has been a game changer. I'm wondering if it's a combo of three things: maganaride, taller softer springs, and different tires that really makes the difference. Almost anything would be better than the original ride, but the Rally is crazy better. The first drive my wife made said it was almost a luxury car now.

I’m so happy to hear that, Brian. I suspect you’re right about all three. Obviously MagneRide isn’t in my GT’s future, but I’ I’ll likely go with higher profile, and likely wider tires when I wear out my original set. That can’t happen soon enough! ?

I was able to find the springs and will try to install them this weekend. Stupid question but is there a specific orientation for them (top/bottom)? They look pretty symmetric. Thanks!

Great news about the Yolo Causeway John. My Magneride cars have been through there a number of times (on the way to duck hunts) and were pretty smooth. Good to know there is a way for non-Magneride cars to navigate that without breaking the backs of their occupants. 😁🐩

Not a stupid question and they are not symmetric. There is a SMALL WHITE tag on the springs with the manufacturing number. Notice the location of tag on the installed spring BEFORE you remove it. On all of the Mach-E's I have replaced springs on, the front springs have the white manufacturing number tag at the top, the rear springs have it at the bottom. Also to make sure you actually have the Rally springs, the suffix at the end of the manufacturing number ends with "ABC" on the front springs and "ABD" on the rear springs.

Also, on the front springs, you need to make sure you align the two tabs together on the top bearing plate with the notch in the lower spring perch.

If you have any questions about the install, DM me.

I installed these Rally springs with John and have done several others. I'm doing a couple more installs for members, Raffi's car this Saturday along with the Eibach sway bars and Eric's in three weeks. The last couple of years it was the Eibach progressive lowering springs that was the hot suspension mod, now it's the OEM Rally springs. 😊

do not remove tags and when you will see original springs you would see direction.

Thanks for the detailed write up and review!

I'm located in Oakland CA and would love to pay somebody to have this installed on my '23 GT PE to improve the bouncy suspension. I have a bunch of speed bumps in my neighborhood and every time I go over one — even at low speeds, I feel like I'm being thrown around on a violent rollercoaster.
