CRAZY stupid high base price! $65,000, this is going to be a dud. Off-road specs are pretty good, but you'll need the Moab trim, which I'm sure will be an $80,000 vehicle. Where are the battery and charging specs? 🤷‍♂️

Not that I was looking too hard, but this was all I could find.

Powered by a 100.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the 2026 Jeep Recon has up to 250 miles of driving range. However, the Moab trim, the first to be available, is estimated to have up to 230 miles of range.
...
Jeep didn’t reveal charge speeds, but said the Recon can charge from 5% to 80% in about 28 minutes using a DC fast charger. It can add about 100 miles in 10 minutes, according to Jeep.
So, I'd guess maybe ~250 kW charging?

The stupid thing, to me, is that they're putting a CCS port in it for the 2026 model but then will pretty much immediately switch to NACS. How is this thing not launching with NACS?

Why dont they have a model with the old looks. That goes for other manufacturers too

I like Jeep Wrangler looks; I like Cadillac XT4 looks (this was the car that made me think, hmm, maybe I need to get a new car. I got a Mach E of course )

Makes my point even more true if those specs and not having NCAS are real, this will be a DUD! Lower miles with off-road tires makes sense, but the top range of 250 miles is so bad I don't even care to look at this again ever. Even the new Nissan Leaf at 300 miles and the Chevy Bolt is 250 but it's a $30,000 price point. Both of those will have NCAS to boot. 🤷‍♂️

EV Bronco has 105kWh battery pack. Larger than the Mach E.

It’s a Jeep thing. You wouldn’t understand.

Just get the NACS adapter

Don't forget that at this point having an adapter is the best of both worlds: you can use the existing CCS chargers AND most Tesla Superchargers
