Something doesn’t click for me around a vehicle designed to go where no energy source exist. Luckily, very few use it for the purpose it was designed for. That’s why I think Rivian will have a moment of reckoning soon.

  • Electricity is everywhere...
  • Rivians challenge is that they announced more desirable products (R2 R3) that costs less but are not available yet... Lots of cases where this strategy kills companys.
  • Did you ever notice that cities are full of jeep wranglers... that have never even driven on a dirt road?

Range of ~230 (off road version) for $65K from Jeep. Errr, yah I'm not so sure about that. Hope there are DCFC at the trail head.

🤣😂 I so identify with this. Pickup trucks that haul air, mall crawlers, country club Land Cruisers… you can find them all in my city. And I’m not mad about it: drive what feels like you. Maybe you are a soccer dad on the outside but a desert runner on the inside!

Heck, I bought a mach-e to feel sporty while sitting in traffic past Tyson’s Corner on the beltway, so pot and kettle.

Electricity is everywhere? Are you serious? Why then is EV growth stifled by range anxiety? Or why would a cash strapped company like Rivian decide to build an “adventures” charging network instead of using scarce capital to finance new vehicles or simply stay afloat.

There are things in life that don’t make sense. This shitty EV is one of them.

Maybe YOUR Country Clubs have Land Cruisers, but OUR Country Clubs have Range Rovers and G-Wagons (and not the crappy, cheap G-Wagons, the very posh G-Wagons) 😀😀😀
