Dealer says my 1/24 car was finished on 2/9. He says it is still sitting in Mexico.

With a production date of 2/5, a ship date of 2/10 and a primary status of In Transit, when should I expect to see anything in PALSAPP other than this?

In about two weeks, when it gets to Kansas City and is offloaded.

Just like mine, which was finished on 2/8. They're waiting for the next available rail car. There is a big queue right now of these cars at the factory still, been backed up since December. Delays are due to covid cutting down on the available trains.

There is a general shortage of autoracks predating Covid. The movement to pickups and utility vehicles reduces the number of cars which can be carried by auto racks which further compounds the problem. Add in the COVI issues and resulting manpower constraints snd we have a bit of a logistics logjam.

Like clockwork, 8 days after my build was completed on 2/9 (scheduled for 1/24), I’m in transit! Ish just got real! Can’t wait!

Yeah, if you’re lucky enough to get truck transport from KC, it arrives at the dealer within days. If it has to get on another train, that becomes weeks.

No dispatched for mine, just says at Enterprise Lot Claycomo, which is an auto transport hub. So I guess it just sits there awhile.

I think Palsapp covers any truck transport. After mine arrived in KC, Palsapp showed "dispatched" for a trip from KC to my dealer in Wisconsin. Two days later, my car was delivered to the dealer (I got to play with it that day and took ownership the next day). The estimated delivery date from Ford was March 3. Actual day of possession was February 9. Keep hoping!

This has to be the quickest Factory Build to Owner Possession on the entire site! Wow!

Congratulations! Yeah they seem to be on a very regular schedule now with the build date > awaiting shipment date > shipping and delivery. You should get another email in 2 days or so that your car was shipped officially, but the ETA date won't change.

Nope, I missed the party. Ford reservation page still doesn't show any progress (which is normal pre-shippment) and no email. The forum tracker still shows a production date of 2/11 and the FordPass app has the activate now button... but no ship date and status is still in progress. Hopefully the next train isn't too far behind. Maybe I'll catch up to you from KC to DE?

Not being a downer, but...mine had a scheduled dealer delivery date of February 2 - 9, I'm still waiting, shes still in KC and pending on palsapp, but it did update delivery destination instead of null. Dealer says his invoice shows week of the 20th for delivery, so hoping this holds! Fingers crossed yours stays on schedule!!
