My 11/2019 reserved Premium MME was delivered to my dealership (CHINO HILLS FORD) on 2/19/2021. I learned of the delivery through Ford Tracker, not the dealership. After waiting nearly a year and half, and willing to purchase at MSRP, the dealer placed an ADM of $10G on the vehicle. I refused delivery and let the GM know he had an anatomical area where he could place the vehicle. To be fair, this dealership changed owners several months ago, but unwilling to honor my purchase agreement with the former owners. Have since reordered at Puente Hills Ford with assurances that price paid will be MSRP or less with no ADM and with all discounts (X-plan, CCVR, CCFR, etc.) honored. If you reserved and placed an MME order with CHF prior to its change of ownership, beware that it is placing a $10G ADM on ALL MMEs of RESERVED buyers.

Dealers like that seem hellbent on forever losing customers.

I visited a dealer this weekend to check out the Mach-E in person.

Right after I finished griping about the complaints I’d read online about dealer markups, or refusing to honor X-Plan pricing, the rep mentioned that Mach-E I was checking out was available with a $6k markup. No thanks!

You really need to let Ford corporate know about this. I would think, as they are new owner, Ford could ask them how much they like having a franchise..

Write all of them and let them know all the details. If you did not agree to ADM, they have breached the contract and Ford will want to know. There are and will be consequences if you press this matter. Serious ones.

Additionally @Vectorboss, I can tell you from first-hand experience that Ford pays attention to this type of stuff. If you're factual you will get results from following through with them.

I'm getting a little frustrated with my dealer and their responsiveness. I've purchased 3 Fusions from them, mainly because I'm very brand loyal. Bought the 2013 and 2016 models despite having moved from the East Bay to SF. I always thought they were fine, nothing amazing but no horrible experiences outside a bit of a bait and switch when I purchased my Energi - I actually believed them when they said last minute the car I'd been working with finance on purchasing for hours ended up not being Titanium, mainly because the sales rep acted like he was gonna lose his job if I backed out lol.

But the lack of responsiveness on my Mach E order is borderline insulting. The sales rep ignores 80% of my texts, and the GM has yet to respond to my emails trying to hash out some of the specifics of the purchase in advance to make the process smoother. I'm not about to pull my order, but if they try any shenanigans when my car arrives in April Ford will definitely hear about it lol

That definitely seems like a breach of contract. The agreed upon price, INCLUDING dealer markup, is listed in your order page online -- check that. If there's no ADM, I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to mark up your car or they are breaching that sales agreement. Definitely write Ford and complain. You're entitled to your car for the agreed upon price. I absolutely hate dealerships like this.

WOW. They're marking up all their Premiums ~$8,000 over MSRP. That is obnoxious. Screw that dealership.

Edit: And I'm sure they already have yours up for sale here for $63k, too.

Yes, it's in their inventor; the Carbonized Gray with a $10G ADM!

All the ADM's are only giving ford a black eye Bad press for sure. Making folks not want the car. what is going to happen if all of a sudden the car is not selling. Especially any Tesla owners who might be thinking of a MME. They have a hit - AND DONT F**K IT UP!!

I wonder how much of the $7,500 FTC these greedy dealers are pocketing, since they don't offer this as 'Lease Cash' when you lease the Mach-E. Every other EV manufacturer (that still has the FTC available) offers some if not all of the $7,500 as 'Lease Cash', or a 'Cost Reduction'.
