Well... apparently, the mutual decision is to wait until tomorrow now :) ?? ? (my emotions)
I would put my water wings on and get the car... I mean I fully expect it to be like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and turn into a boat or airplane when needed. It is more than 50 years more advanced after all. ????

So I have not heard back from my dealer. Not sure what to think yet but the forum tracker has changed to an ETA of 4-24-21 instead of 3-29-21. The official Ford tracker still says 3-29-21 and the reservation page still says ETA week of March 22-28. Thoughts?

Did you call them? They tend to suck at email. Get someone on the line and hold them to the fire, lol.

LATE BREAKING NEWS...

Just got voicemail from dealer. Not sure how this is real. But he states my Mach E is on the property and getting prepped!!!

Now for a reminder, my original ETA was 4/1-4/7 and then changed to 3/30 and then to 3/28..and apparently is now arrived?! ETA still shows 5 days right now. Wow..

I plan to call them back as soon as I can. Will update later. I'm east coast, Maryland. Originally build week 1/24.

Did any of the trackers update once it was delivered?

Nothing updated just yet. But I did call back to confirm. The VIN is correct.

I'd encourage anyone waiting. Call your dealer, make them work lol. Good news could be yours.

I have searched and can't find it but wasn't there a customer service number some have called and got updates on their car? If I remember right some got info some did not.

What was that number? I will be calling my dealer once I get out of the meeting I am currently in.

Absolutely. And I'd love to stay up to date with @Kamuelaflyer
This is the journey of the car so far. It might be at the BNSF Intermodal yard in San Bernadino where it'll be transferred via truck (That used to be Jack Cooper as well, but I think they sold that operation) to Long Beach for boat shipment to Honolulu, or it might be somewhere short of that. The last update had it passing or in Needles California. There's also a possibility it'll go via rail to the intermodal yard for the port of Long Beach.

yes, I have waaaaaaaay too much time on my hands.

Wow! Now *this* is the kind of tracking info I would have gladly paid for on my car. ?
Yeah, that's a helluva journey and still a ways to go. Price you pay for living in paradise, when you have to buy stuff from everyone who lives in non-paradise :(

Thanks, I looked too far back in this thread.

So I called and they confirmed my ETA is now April 18-24!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
There nothing else they could tell me.

I have a call in with my dealer and will call again in a little while if he doesn't call back.

My car was transferred to the Birmingham ramp ahead of a lot of you that already have your cars. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!?!

Did you get all the train status through VV reports? The only report I've been able to get from my dealer said it was in Wellington, KS yesterday, so looks like it's still a week from NorCal.

How do you track BNSF? The only thing I saw was for commercial customers to sign up on their site.

Some of this is from VV reports and a bit of guesswork. Some of it is also because I worked for FedEx for 27 years and know who to call at FedEx to have them trace a car (a railroad car, FedEx ships a lot of trailers via rail). As long as I don't abuse the privilege of calling (one call only, FedEx has no sense of humor :p) or calling to the point of annoying the dealer or others, I can get much of this information.

As for @sockmeister's comment, I think Ford is missing out here on a great little feature for customers who've ordered a car. Yes, it far, far harder to track cars to the detail that FedEx, UPS, and the USPS do on a package, and the info is definitely not essential to know. But it's nice to know and definitely fun.

There is a huge caveat here though: There's no real guarantee that my car is actually at any of those places. These are railroad car positions nothing more. My car is supposed to be on that car and we're 99% certainty it is but ...

The rest of the journey: Once it's at the Port of Long Beach I should be able to track it via Vin to Hilo on the shipping company. After that, there's a local trucking company that will haul the car the last 3.5 miles (if you use a short measuring stick) to the dealer. That will occur with 3 days of it being offloaded in Hilo as there are significant storage fees after 3 days.
