yeah, you can get about 7,500 off now on the base etron. 20,000 that has to be with state and federal incentives which the mache also gets. But the base etron does not compare to the mache.

They are not selling well here at all. The dealer here in Louisville said they sold 5 in 2021.

another thing about the ID4. the hood is just exposed metal no trim. Nothing nice. Cheaply made. You even have to use the old school hood sticky thing to keep it open lol

So today had the ID4 first edition for 3 hours. had some fun and learned alot about the BEV.

Few things the ID4 does better than the mache.

1. Turning yes the ID4 can turn on a dime forward and backward.

Few things the Mache does better than the ID4.

1. Handling no questions ask the mache is fun to drive and you can preload and take corners faster just the mache is on a different level. Could the AWD ID4 be better? yes, but time will tell.

Overall the ID4 is your minivan Bev for me. It does nothing great but it does nothing bad. It's your middle-level race car you select when you were a kid playing a video game. Just an all-around family car.

It really does turn on a dime, it was remarkable in the test drive.

I had the opposite impression on handling, honestly it was no question the ID.4 handles better. The Mach-E is grip limited far before the ID.4 is, and the ID.4 felt like it was on rails. Mach-E is a lot faster, but the tires are overwhelmed, I can burn out in the Mach-E, the ID.4 kept its grip under control.

ID.4 felt like a GTI in the handling dept, truly exceptional for a stock vehicle.

I wonder if it's a RWD vs AWD thing - yours is AWD, yeah?

Overall the ID.4 is a generic blob, but it's a generic blob that handles like it's on rails.

It handled better than the MME in my opinion. The acceleration past 50mph was bad. No comparison to the MME.
