Unable to find a easy solutions for fast charging. Fords wireless pad is under powered. They must be using a standard 1 amp . Same with the 2 ports in the same area. Both 1 amp or less. They only work around, might be to run a wire from the 12 volt socket in the lower center console to the front tray. Any thoughts ?

I can't find what the amp draw is for that wireless pad. The manual says 5 watts. Not sure if that is fast or slow but it charges my phone fairly quick. Never had any issues with the phone not charging fast enough in that spot.

The fuse for that center console is 5 amps. Probably powers the wireless pad, the USB plug and the 12v port in the console compartment.

The rear USB ports seem like they are higher powered. Maybe that will work for you?

5W is in the original USB spec and the USB 2.0 spec (1A @ 5V). People today refer to that as "slow." Higher wattages were introduced with the USB 3.x specs (along with backward compatibility to lower wattage).

Just tried, correct from Charger plug. Will try to find a way to run a wire through the console to a fast charge wireless puck to lay the phone on.
