Just received an e-mail from Ford that our order was updated, but there is no discernible change on their website. Anyone else have this happen? We have order date, so thought this might be a production date notification, but we don’t see one. The only other thing we noticed is that the color of the car is not specified anywhere that we can see (unless we’re missing it) so are now wondering if our Infinite Blue is no longer available (having just seen the new thread about it no longer being available)? We can’t recall if it was shown previously on the order page.

Where on the Ford website is the info you described?? Thanks.

Sad news, Michael. I hope your other order doesn't sit languishing on a list somewhere not going anywhere for much longer and that it works out for you.

The Infinite Blue (Illinipony) that I purchased in April is fine and sits in my garage certainly not languishing. Susan and I are very lucky to have found an infinite blue that met our specs and are enjoying our new ride.

The Infinite Blue that sits languishing on a list isn't made yet and is the Mach E we ordered on October 12, 2020 from a car dealer in Peotone Illinois; it's like "vaporware.". My order sits without advancing since it was placed while I watched those who ordered in December, January, February, March, etc. get build weeks and some have even taken delivery on their cars. This is why I went out and purchased an infinite blue off a dealers lot. I canceled my order placed in October and received a refund of my money. Had I kept waiting Susan and I would have lost our color too because Ford stopped making Infinite blue. I still am keeping track of my previous order and it hasn't received a build week yet as of today.

So not sad news at all, I think you misunderstood what I said or I wasn't clear; sorry.

Color and other options are under My Order > Vehicle Details.

The color selection disappeared when IB was discontinued. We then chose Rapid Red, which now shows up here as part of the configuration.

(I’ll also note for the other folks to whom this happened that when the RR color update was added, so was $400. However, the $400 for IB was never subtracted, so I’ve complained to my dealer. Awaiting resolution.)

There are quite a few order numbers higher than mine with order dates later than mine that now have build dates. I don't have one. Its a Red Extended Battery RWD. Is this normal??

My order date was 2/28/21. I still do not have a build date or VIN#. Haven’t heard from my dealership in nearly three months. Which was the length of time they said my vehicle would be delivered.

You are not alone... ordered Star White AWD ER 2/21/2021, no progress to note. Wife and I were practically guessing July/August build. We'll see!

My dealer told me in March that my Premium RWD ER on order would be delayed until late June or longer. He told me this particular configuration was affected buy the delay.
