I'd much rather have things like stable PaaK, programmable security PIN to start vehicle, adjustable duration for puddle lights (and turn them on with vehicle exit), persistent "L" gear selection, better access to car camera display, heads-up speed display, Blue Cruise release, better intelligent cruise features, and other drivability enhancements than something I will never ever use like Disney+. YMMV. :)
Would you rather have a farting application? As Elon said, we put the art in fart. ?

IMHO - the tribalism of these message boards is just… the worst. Mach E doesn’t have a feature? Well that’s a stupid feature! Not needed! Oughta be illegal!

I think having more features and functionality are good things. I’d like the MME to have more, even if I don’t use them. Now to be fair, I am gonna make fun of tic tac toe, but that’s like shooting fish in a barrel. I can’t help it.

Tesla is way ahead on the software side. They oughta be, given their head start. The solution is not to make excuses, but to encourage Ford to catch up.
I think you’re missing the point. the Mustang Mach E is at V1.0. Most of the people are saying, “let’s work on getting the basics of the vehicle being a solid EV nailed before moving onto making it into a rolling drive-in, day care center, Thai Full Moon Party, remote work space, Pilates studio, 3rd grade sound effects machine, or whatever seems to be Elon’s fancy of the day.” It’s all well and good to “skate to where the puck will be”, but let’s learn to skate first, shall we? ???

Why? I’d rather they focus on useful functionality, like PaaK and BlueCruise. I didn’t buy a $60K TV, I bought a $60K car ?
Agree. I'm keeping my S for the charging infrastructure Tesla has built, but I would like to see the other companies build off *Elon's* shoulders. However you see him, he has built "charging" stations around the world and is relanding rocket boosters. Sci fi works when you can build it

I could be wrong but I believe it does have a programmable password to start the car. I remember setting one up along with changing the keypad code. From what I remember its description sounded like it was a backup password to start and use the car

Yeah nobody was saying that in three pages. And it’s still not a reason to be critical of the update.

That is a backup option when PaaK does not function. I am talking about a PIN that a user can enable for use every time to start the car as a security measure. Meaning if some ass steals my phone they can't also steal my car.

I’m not criticizing teslas’s update. In fact, right now, I’m not terribly concerned about what functionality Tesla (or anyone else) puts in their updates. My point is that I’d like Ford to focus on betting the basic functionality nailed down before working on any other bells and whistles. For example, there are some who would like obscure coolant temperatures and internal voltages to be available. Again, I’d prefer Ford get PaaK working and speed sign recognition working before these features.

One of the Greenlots stations here is at a bakery known for its Malasads and Kau Coffee. Does that count?

Oh, the charging station? It has issues with any CCS vehicle. But that's another story. ;)
I miss my Malasadas. Lived on Oahu then Maui more than a dozen years. Best years ever.

Pointing out that all is not great in Tesla Town is not being defensive, but is simply constructive criticism. :)

Backed up by facts.

Ask the Tesla owners below if they want a TV in their vehicle, or would rather have more reliability in that vehicle.

When Consumer Reports puts a Not Recommended designation on 3 of your 4 BEV models, you have to realize that you may have a problem.

Probably because their reliability is, to put it kindly, not good. But also notice that the Owner Satisfaction is great?????

Not my opinion, that is from surveyed Tesla owners.

I picked up my ME FE on March 4, five months ago.

Here is a complete list of all the OTA updates I have received so far: <none>

Am I missing any?

I am not sure if you are aware but you can watch youtube netflix or any other streaming service, use google and play games in all the cars that have android auto. I do that all the time plus its free and you can do it while driving
The only issue i would say is it does not let it to play on full screen since it limits the screen size allowed for android auto, but i guess at that point its asking too much

I wouldn't throw CR around. They don't rate the MME very high either.

During all those years I've been subscribed to CR, I've always wondered at their ratings. I liked cars they didn't and v.v. From my perspective their ratings are mostly useless.
