I am not sure what to do. I have had my car less than a month and the $600 extra paint I paid for is chipping on the hood. Nothing has hit the car (unless an insect caused that).
I am also not on good terms with the dealership I got it from due to reporting them to big Ford for the mark up and telling me about some shady ordering practices they've been doing for the Mach E. (Having employee's pre-order Mach E's and then cancel when it arrives so they can sell it)

Is this one of those things I have to suck up and handle on my own or is this something Ford will address?

What's it look like? An impactless paint chip will look very different from one that took a hit from something, we might be able to help confirm/deny.

I will go take a picture and post it on my lunch break. So in about 3-4 hours.

I'm not sure you have to go to the dealer you bought the car from. I'm pretty sure you can make an appt. at any dealer for service. Not sure I'd want to deal with those guys again anyway.

You can take it to any Ford dealer and they would be happy to have your service business. My local dealer I would not and did not buy my car from but I really like their service department. FWIW.

I got some tiny chips in my Grabber Blue before getting the PPF on the hood.

Did you have the paint touched up before having the PPF applied or did you just do the PPF on top of the chips?

I thought they were going to fix them but they ended up dropping the PPF on top without fixing them. The detailer working on my car said he didn't notice them.

I also had several paint chips on my hood and front, which is what finalized my decision on doing PPF.

The paint on this car does seem to chip easily. I noticed yesterday a rock chip on my passenger front door now too. Not sure how it got all the way back there but definitely a rock chip.

When I had my PPF done, I brought some touch-up paint that I bought from the dealer and asked them to cover the couple small chips I had. The shop owner called me, however, and told me his recommendation would be not to touch up the tiny chips, as in his opinion it was not worth the time and effort it would take to do a good job (i.e. not just apply it with the flimsy brush inside the tube that would leave it looking sloppy). He said that with the PPF over top, the chips wouldn’t even be noticeable. He was right.

I am guessing the car wasn't white with dark primer showing through those chips?

Nope. Different situation that yours. Mine is infinite blue so not as noticeable. Just was giving a different perspective. What you are describing, I would also want fixed. I hope it comes out looking good as new for you.

It's honestly really tiny but I know they grow if not addressed. And I worry about more forming.

Mine aren't very noticeable. That's why the detailer didn't notice but I see them when I look closely.

This is the worst. My sympathies. I know the first paint issue, whether caused by the road or manufacturing defect, will be traumatic.
