This phone as a key has been a total mess for me. Got set up at the dealership, although it took three sales associates to do it, and drove off. My phone worked half the time until the call came out to service PAAK software on the car. It worked pretty reliably until the last app update, when my PAAK went dead as a doornail. Still is, a brick as someone else coined it.
The dealer is no help, no one in service can help, and no sales accociate will get off their ass from under the misters for less than $200 to help with a problem caused by an app update, near as I can tell.
The instructions to reset the PAAK seems clear until I try to do it. I can't get past "Activation Pending". Anyone else in this dilemma?
I had little faith in Ford when I bought the car, now I have none. And Ford doen't seem to give a rip! Absolutely no hint of customer service or concern at this point and the dealer can't be bothered. Has anyone heard a peep out of Ford, or are we all nuts?
