So I have had my GT for one week now and mostly it has been flawless. This morning I got an alert in Ford Pass saying that the 12v battery has a fault and will need service soon. I thought they had fixed this issue. The car is actually at a detail shop getting a ceramic coat, so I am hoping I will be able to get into it to bring home. I sent a screen shot to my dealer, but they have not seen with the others they have sold. Any ideas?

Thanks - I tried to search before posting mine. Weird, same issue.
Does your car also show an error or just in your FordPass app? Earlier this week, I got three random faults in my FordPass app, but the car didn't show any errors. The car drove fine as well. I took my MME to the dealership and they ran a scan. No errors were found. My service advisor said FordApp errors has happened to other people recently when there is nothing wrong with the car.

Mine is in the shop getting the fender flares painted and I just received this same FordPass alert just now. My first instinct was to come check here for any similar stories. Glad I'm not the only one.

Wow~ literally same thing here. My car is at the ceramic coating shop now and I got the same message on Fordpass and I'm freaking out. The guy is driving it to my house now and says it's fine but I still feel nervous.

you can find posts on here about the 12v battery by the truckload. These should help you with peace of mind, or at least what to be prepared for. Good luck

yeah, I read through some posts here as soon as I got the alert. Crazy how many people have had that happen during the ceramic coating process.

It‘s not really crazy. The alert is worded terribly, but it appears that it’s generated when the 12V battery gets low and the DC/DC converter kicks on to charge it back up. The 12V battery getting low when a detailing shop has doors open with interior lights on for hours makes perfect sense.

When you put it that way, not crazy after all.
