Wipers one pass on START

Every 2 or 3 times that I START my MME GTPE, the windshield wipers make one pass whether I am in the garage or outside. I am worried that this will eventually scratch the windshield.
There have been other threads commenting on this problem but no solution.

The control is in position B (Low Sensitivity, requires a large amount of water to activate)

Yes, this frequently happens if you leave auto wipers on. The only current solution is to leave the wipers off.

Only difference is that its not supposed to do that.. Sure you can turn it off OR, hold your pants, Ford could make it work the way it should. ?
