I have tried it at different amp settings and it does the same thing.
I also know ther has been some discrepancies in the DIP switches, so not sure if this has something to do with it.
The charger is working fine, and is charging, but I am unsure how many amps it is putting in.
I want it to be 48A. I have a 60 amp breaker on 220.

Mine did that until I turned the breaker off and back on (rebooted it). Worked after that.

I tried that, but will try again when I get home.
Do you know specifically what you set your DIP switches to?

Yes, there is a picture of my dip switches near the end of the installation instruction thread that is pinned to the top of this forum

This one? That is exactly how I have mine as well. Is it charging 48A that way?

No, mine is set to charge at 40A max. Or at least, I tried. Seems to me no one has a clear handle on what they should be, so I followed the instructions. Testing seems to indicate its 40A max but I am not confident. Regardless, If you set the dip switches in any combination that doesn't match the instructions, like all 1s, it should default to the 48A max.

I have read through every thread I can find about the DIP switches, and still cannot figure out exactly how to set them. I would like to be able to charge at 48A.

For 48A set the dip switches to: 1 0 0 0 0

Ignore the silkscreen printed on the green circuit board since it is wrong, 1=ON and 0=OFF for the dipswitches. So the first one is on and the rest are off. Make sure you switch off the breaker and turn it on again after changing a setting to reset the unit.

The charger is engineered and built by Webasto. A reliable source tells me the confusion is apparently because the engineers at Webasto (in Germany) define 0 = ON and 1 = OFF . The Ford team was ... rather surprised by this (that's probably putting it mildly). I predict future batches will correct the printing on the board.

I tried to do a web search to see if this 0=ON / 1=OFF definition is common in Germany but didn't have much luck finding an answer (although I wasn't very persistent).

Anyway... follow the notation on the red DIP switch block where 1 really does mean ON.

I"m getting the same error message as well, and the charger is showing with an orange light (in the app) but a blue steady light on the actual charger. It connected fine via bluetooth and to wifi, but the fordpass app shows it with an errror. Any ideas? I don't have the car yet, so not critical at the moment....

I'm still seeing the charger with an orange light in the app, and a red exclamation point. Setting it up and connecting to wi-fi etc is all working great, but the charger itself doesn't seem to work in the app. Get the charge point connecter error everytime I try to set it to 48. Dips are set to 1 on, rest off- Is the issue that I don't have a car yet lol? Or do I have an issue I need to correct before delivery? I've reset the breaker, installed uninstalled the charger a few times-
