Started Ford's online reservation 7 Dec 2021 for MME Rapid Red, Ext. Batt, AWD (per this site, the most popular choices). Then, called chosen dealer to ask about refund policy of $1500 deposit and was told to come to dealer for ID check. Completed reservation online. Went to dealer that afternoon; Ford confirmed my reservation and assigned order number the same day for dealer. The next day, Dec 8, Ford announced a $2000 price increase. I also saw Ford's announcement about helping their production with a relationship with a major chip supplier. I also found online information that Ford had continued MME production while shutting down other lines. This forum is the place I found actual stats on production delays. The dealer is no help. I hope to find useful and up-to-date information about events related to 2022 MME production and ongoing delays.

Apparently, first attempt to enter accepted order failed. Reentered today. Data compilation on this thread not updated in a month. Is that a good or bad sign re: Mach-e ordering?

Submitted! Premium AWD Std - Ordered 7/19/2021. Production- 10/4/21 - Estimated Delivery 12/8. Have called Ford Directly, they state on chip hold in Mexico. Not sure what more you could provide but worth a shot. Does Ford choose to change you to a '22, if you ordered a '21 and likely not receiving it in '21? Or do you have to change order?

Year is determined by build date. If your build is completed in 2021 that’s what’s you get. That only applies to this year for Mach e’s because so many orders got pushed back. If you can get your window sticker that will confirm your year.

Just a quick update for everyone.
Ordered my GT 7/9. Dealer accepted 7/10. Built date for 10/4. Actual build date was 10/30. Shipped 10/31. Estimated arrival 12/3-12/9. Car arrived in KS 11/14. Delivery date changed to 11/14-11/21. Car was delivered 12/2 and I drive away on 12/3. Never got any on hold emails and process was smooth. Went with GT after premium wasnt going to be made until after 2022.
This car is BEAUTIFUL and i could not be happier.
Used Tasca Ford in Cranston, RI and 0 issues.

It’s official. Ford is only releasing GT’s from KC to pump up their 2021 numbers. My Premium has been sitting in KC since 11/5..

It's not a reflection on anything having to do with ordering or Ford. I updated my information twice in he last 4 weeks and I haven't seen the updates hit the spreadsheet yet. I guess the Administrator is busy with other stuff. ?‍?

Admin: Thanks for table update. I see that I goofed my new entry. My input is listed twice (1737 and 1746). You may delete the 1746 line. I also have no other milestone dates to list, but using Ford's 28 week delivery estimate for new Premium orders, I could enter 21 June 2022 as estimated delivery date. Is that worth doing? It's pretty depressing, at this point, but things seem to be looking up (Ford's BEV production emphasis, chip supply deals). I've also learned that Ford supposedly allocated about half of its 2021 MME production (~25K) to ZEV States and half to the rest. Maybe those zero emissions vehicle States, such as CA could be highlighted in the table, to help "interpret" the results.
