Was yours actually built in the stated time period and confirmed as "not affected"?
That's right. We were scheduled for week of 10/18, actually built on 11/18. Maybe they fixed it or caught it at the plant.

I wonder if this is why so many of us with November build dates got bumped into December dates.

Hello all,

Ford has a vin/recall search on its website

https://www.ford.com/support/recalls/

Can anyone that knows their vehicle is subject to the recall confirm that this search works? I am looking at two vehicles built in the subject time period and the vins did not reveal any recalls. Curious if this link is accurate and would capture the seatbelt recall. Thanks.

I ran my VIN there and at NHTSA's recall lookup and didn't find anything, yet my dealer confirmed with me that my car is affected. I don't think this recall has been publicly announced yet -- the photo of the memo at the top of the thread says "Advance Notice".

Something something always bad news on a Friday ...

Even though my car isn't affected by this recall, maybe I'll schedule my windshield recall service for March or April. Seems like a safer bet!

Same except mine was "built" 11/17. Looks like your built date was right on the cusp of the affected date range. lucky!

Mine shows none, too. Could be too early for them to appear.

It didn’t flag mine for it, yet Ford has my car on ‘quality hold.’ My build date: 10/15.

Same situation. Doesn't show on the website. Though they sold it to me...just wouldn't let me take it home.

Ugh, my car's production date falls squarely into the early part of this window. Hopefully mine was made with left-over parts from earlier purchase orders. Not that I use the rear seats for passengers. ?‍♂?

You should be okay since the GT version of the vehicle is equipped with zero-zero ejection seats which use a jet based actuator and vastly different mount points
