I guess this needed a TL;DR. Here are my questions I don't think have been answered yet:For those of us less schooled in the ways for Ford buying (like me) would you please explain the incentives. I realize the current incentives expire long before we'll get our MMEs. But let's just assume the same $1,000 cash incentive exists at that time.
X-Plan Price:
Supposedly this was to be (-2% + $275). For my Grabber Blue First Edition the price is $59,300 and 2% of that is 1186. I calculate $59,300 - 1186 + 275 = 58,389. That agrees with the X-plan price above.
Incentives:
I see in the fine print:
2 Purchase incentives do not include Ford Credit Bonus Cash. Ford Credit Bonus cash requires Ford Credit financing or lease contract. Not all buyers will qualify. See dealer for residency restrictions, qualifications and complete details.
When I click the little print icon to get the details,
mine also lists:
INCENTIVE DETAILS for Zip Code 20904
Ford Options Retail Bonus Cash (Program #13770)
Cash Incentive: $1,000
Offer Valid: 2020-06-25 - 2020-09-08
Disclaimer: Program #13770: $1,000.00 Ford Credit Bonus cash requires Ford Credit financing. Not all buyers will qualify. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 09/08/2020. See dealer for complete details.
So, (2) makes it seem like this incentive is not Ford Credit Bonus Cash. Does that mean if we could buy the MME today we get a $1,000 discount on top of X-plan pricing making the price $57,389?
Oddly, my screen that matches yours but for 20904 also lists Net Plan Price $58,489. Coincidentally, that's a difference of $1,100 but the fine print says
3 Net Plan price equals the Plan price less purchase incentives. Optional equipment, $1,100 destination/delivery, documentation fees, taxes, title, and license fees extra. Not all buyers will qualify for all incentives. See dealer for residency restrictions, qualifications, and complete details.
So, why the $1,100 difference?
Strangely, my detail sheet says Net X-Plan Price $57,389, not the $58,489 on the earlier screen.
Ford Credit Bonus cash:
Back to my detail page. It says:
Program #13770: $1,000.00 Ford Credit Bonus cash requires Ford Credit financing. Not all buyers will qualify. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 09/08/2020. See dealer for complete details.
Does this mean there is another $1,000 of Ford Credit Bonus Cash we can unlock by financing?
I thought that date was pretty funny also... All this discussion on the incentives may end up being pointless if they don't renew these programs.delivery by 9/8/20.. ha...
I'm in CA and it worked properly for me a couple of days ago. Maybe clear your cache? For some reason, when I get on the website, it does not populate for 2021 Mustang, only 2019 & 2020. Perhaps since I am in California? Will try again later.
It's listed under the SUVs, not under Mustang. For some reason, when I get on the website, it does not populate for 2021 Mustang, only 2019 & 2020. Perhaps since I am in California? Will try again later.
It's up on my site. Try looking under SUV's. It is listed as MacheFor some reason, when I get on the website, it does not populate for 2021 Mustang, only 2019 & 2020. Perhaps since I am in California? Will try again later.

Your dealer has to be one of the dealers that honors X-Plan pricing first. After that, there are many different ways to qualify for it. One of the easiest is to join MCA, get an id card from them, and then the discount code from their website a bit before it's time to sign the final paperwork.Sorry for the noob question but if I'm reading this right, I just have to sign up to the Mustang Club of America and I get a discount?
The only catch is that you have to be a member of MCA for 60 days before you can use the X plan discount ID, so hurry!Your dealer has to be one of the dealers that honors X-Plan pricing first.
