Going out to show side friends Saturday and 2 blocks from my house this idiot making a u-turn proceeds to go when I pass him in the intersection. He doesnt stop and hits the drivers side rear door and rear quarter panel and rim.
Maybe from all the swearing, but he refused to give me his info And says call the police. I gladly did and after taking info the officer said he was at fault.

Bummer. Glad the police got it sorted out for you. That doesn't look nearly as bad as @Mach-E VLOG's rear-end repair or my front-end repair
My first estimate: $8760
My final cost (covered by insurance): $10,342

Hopefulythe rear quarter panel isn't bent. The molding won't stay in. I would hat they would have to cut it out & welds in a new piece. The door and rim will be easy enough fix I assume

I decided I'm going to pick up my Mach-e until the parts are found and delivered to the body shop. I dropped the car off Wed & so far they can't find the parts. Since the insurance only pays the rental for $900 it's likely to go over. The shop who does all the work for the dealer I purchased from said they are even having trouble with doors for normal vehicles.
It's crazy that the other insurance accepted fault but put the estimate at only $4000.

Don’t forget the diminished value loss. The accident will cost $2-$5k (maybe more) at trade in.

I just finally had it repaired after almost 4 months. The door is what the shop was waiting for. I filed for a finished value with the insured. Supposed to find out by Monday.
I had a coworker file for dv and he denied because they said used car values are high now. Will see with me.
The total price for the repair was around $8000.

@norcalmach-e curious if you ended up getting the diminished value? My car is sitting in the shop (~90 days now) waiting for a part after someone hit my parked car. I didn't know if I'd be able to file for diminished value since I chose Ford Options and don't technically own it. Appreciate hearing your experience!

Sorry to hear about your accident! Repairs on the Mach-E aren't cheap, my father-in-law got hit in the front drivers side bumper and the repairs came out to about $26,000 CAD.

My passenger window was smashed recently when someone tried to break in. Sadly they also damaged the trim and scratched the paint on the door. That repair through insurance was around $2,600 including parts and labor.

Wrong on Ford Options. In fact, you DO technically own it.

Yes that is true, mispoke there! Most of the diminished value comments I've seen on here have been for outright purchased vehicles so I was a little worried. Looking to hear anyone else's Ford Options experience - hopefully successful ?

Best of luck on the body shop finding the parts. I had to take my Chevy Bolt into a shop for some body work and when I came with the Mach E to pick it up, the shop estimator told me to be sure nothing happens to my Mach E because they were not able to get any parts for it.

I just received $3500. Deposited in 5 minutes to my bank. Could have fought for more according to the agent, but I would have to get an dm appraisal and bring it to dealerships for price quotes to sell. I was over it and accepted the amount.
