After the 2.1 update, my car disregards the max charge setting, and only charges to 100%.. I've tried changing the setting inside the car. No luck. The Fordpass app spins at "loading", and then gives mesage: "Sorry, FordPass is not responding"
Thanks

I have tried to change it inside the car also. It saves, but still charges up to 100%

Right. The fix is likely to delete your home location, plug in for a few minutes, stop charging, set a home location, and then set the %.

Does your car think it is at home?

The definition of a charging location has a lot of wiggle room ... something like 100 meters. Geolocation doesn't need to be super-precise (anything within nearly a block of your house -- will be treated as being at your house.)

If AT&T cell signal is weak ... maybe leave the car running out in the driveway when you define the charge location and settings. (AT&T signal is terrible in my neighborhood.)

Be sure of this, OP.

Mine had this issue one time where it ignored the preferred charge and tried to go to 100. Upon closer inspection of FordPass, apparently my car thought it was charging at the house next door. I won't lie and say I didn't look out my window to be sure my neighbor didn't in fact commandeer my Mach-E (I know for a fact that he wants it)

Oh man I thought this was another "my range should be 270 and it's only at 200 at 100%. It should charge above 100%" thread
Ha ha! I thought that too from the title. "If football players can give 110%, why can't my battery?"

I don't want it to charge to 100%

That's interesting. The address of my "home" is incorrect. It is my neighbors house number. So how did you fix it? And thanks

LOL I have nothing to add but I read the headline thinking this was going to be some cold weather post where someone complained the battery wouldn't overcharge to like 150%.

Hope you figure out your issue. I'll see myself out now... ?

You, me and 98.6% of the forum. Wasn’t this a pleasant surprise? ;)

This is what I did through trial and error and was successful. Simply changing the existing location didn’t do it.
