Ordered mine July 20 2021, in Sept of 2021 got an email saying I will get a 2022 and now the order date is 9/2021. Had a build date of 1/14/2022, started build on 1/24/2022 with an estimated arrival of 3/19/2022. Just checked on status and now the estimated delivery date is 6/16/2022!! I sure hope it comes in sooner or I might say screw it and get a Tesla. They seem to not have as many mfg and delivery issues. Really is disappointing

Makes sense. Got this message from my dealer after inquiring about priorities. My order date was accepted on 12/30/2021.

"We base priority codes on when the order was placed. There's 15 clients ahead of your order date. Once we get the allocation for production we move up the priority codes to reflect next in line. We have a total of 49 Mach E orders and will get all of them scheduled since we get the allocation for them. Good news is that you got your order in before the deadline of Feb 11th, that is the last day for 22MY Mach E orders."

Yeah just frustrating. I did find out my car is built but waiting for those little things call computer chips.

I was told it is because of the Choi shortage. It is built but in need of the elusive “chip”

Reserved 4/28/21, Ordered 5/2/21, Scheduled for production week of 7/12/21, finished production 9/24/21, arrived at dealership on 1/6/21 and has been having recall work done since then.
Still have not been able to actually complete purchase as of 2/7/21

That's what I understood from the Sales Manager, but who knows?
This is a large dealer in t he Atlanta area.

Surprised phone call, now have VIN number for my vehicle and approx shipping date. April or May according to my dealer.

They’re going to shut down orders for 3-4 months to catch-up. Value of you current order or car just went up.
