Does charging the Mach e interfere with anyone else’s solar panel microinverters? If so, does that indicate an equipment problem? I would appreciate any insight anyone can offer.

I have 2 installations with Enphase IQ7 microinverters. No issues and can’t imagine what you are concerned about. Are you having power or communication interference? I installed one system myself and am a EE so I have a better than average understanding of how it works.

This is something you're going to want to take up with your installer or monitoring service. We won't be able to provide much in the way of meaningful support without knowing intimate details about your system. Hopefully your inverters are throwing fault codes that can lead you to confirming the issue and seeking replacement under warranty.

Thank you for the response. I have 58 panels with IQ7 microinverters and when the car is plugged in 28 do not report. I do not know if this is just an interference problem or something more serious.

Issues with Powerline ethernet devices have been reported FWIW.

No issues with my ap systems microinverters. I'm assuming your issue is with grid sensing? My panels are wired in between the meter and the main panel.

How is it interfering?
How is it interfering?
I get the following message:
Microinverters Not Reporting
Some microinverters (17) aren't reporting data
to the Envoy. Where's the problem?

When I unplug the car, they start reporting again. Ican work around the problemif I need to.

thanks again for your interest.

I can’t see how the EVSE could cause any interference. Even if the EVSE is acting up somehow, It’s just a simple load with maybe some slight noise from the vehicle charger.
maybe your grid power sensors are acting up with the high current draw of the vehicle.
I would call your installer, solar has a super long warranty. This likely has nothing to do with the vehicle equipment itself.

i have 20 enphase microinverters with no issues.

I have two Enphase reporting systems much like @bruceski88 above. One is using M250 Microinverters. The other is on IQ7 microinverters. Each reports to it’s own Enphase Envoy in the garage.
My Grizzl-E classics don’t seem to cause any interference.
However, it may be worth noting that my cars charge at night when my solar array’s don’t have anything to report anyway. When I do charge during the day, I have not been paying attention to whether my Envoy’s are reporting.

Months ago I saw a post about some microinvert data reporters operating on the same frequency as some Mach e equipment. I just tried to find it again but couldn’t. Search the forum, you might find it.

the emphase trouble shooting suggestions indicate these messages can occur due to
“Battery chargers or AC adapters like those used for cell phone and laptop chargers, especially for older devices”
That is the closest statement that seems applicable. My solar system communicates via WiFi.
