As someone sitting in production from Jan 10, I have a hard time believing this. For 2022, it seems like they are having a rough time hitting the current production target. Something has to drastically change between now and the end of 2023 unless they are thinking of having parking lots full of incomplete cars to hit their 600K target.

It's interesting that they are utilizing the VW MEB platform for the Ford transit cargo van in Europe.

So 600,000 BEV annual production by 2023? Less than 2 years from now?

Well, as you all know, since Tesla started production in 2008, it has only taken them 13 years to ramp up production to 302,000 annual units sold in the USA, in 2021. Hmmm.

So we, as average auto buyers, are clueless as to what is going on internally with Ford. Just as the MME came out of nowhere to be wildly successful, and never mind the success of the Lightning, if Ford can get its suppliers together, they can reach that goal.

There are things going on that we do not know about. For instance, in Farley's video it says this, below. Anyone know what that means???

They have enough batteries on hand to make about 25 to 30 thousand MMEs. 5-6 arrays per battery pack.

This "increase in production" talk, does that mean I'll get my MME ordered on 8/5/21, Build week of 1/10/22 scheduled for delivery 2/17/22 moved to 5/18/22 will actually be delivered in 2023?
