Status won't work for me, so I called today and was told it's still slated for 5/18 arrival. Pissing me off that new vehicles are being made and delivered which have the same features as mine, i.e. same chips, when mine is sitting in a parking lot with birds crapping all over it.
Same here. I didn't call but same feeling.

I got an email.

Dear Rick:

We at Ford are very sorry about the continued delays in the production of your 2021 2022 Mach-E Premium E AWD. We had hoped to deliver it in the Fall, and now it's looking like it will be close to this summer before you receive it. Since it will be a mere 11 days shy of a year since you ordered it before the dealership receives it, we thought it would make great sense to just round that off to one year, and have you receive it on 5/29/22, and at the same time celebrate these gifts that we will be giving you as compensation for this extraordinary delay:

1) Free charging for life - yes, we're giving you free charging for life at all BOBS Chargers. BOBS is an exciting new charging network that we're adding to the FordPass Charging Network Blue Oval Charging Network, along with a few other charging networks that you've never heard of and when you find one, will find that it's not working properly.

2) Recall-free voucher - we'll be including with your vehicle a 30 day recall-free voucher. Simply pick the 30 days that you don't want a recall to take place in, fill out the voucher and mail it back. Note - may take up to 120 days to process, so pick a period at least 4 months in the future.

3) Guaranteed 99.563% Server Uptime - we know you've had issues with Ford servers being slow or simply down for maintenance. That's why you'll be receiving Sophie, Mary, and Frank. They'll be working 24/7/365, on rotating 8 hour shifts, to provide you with near 100% server uptime. All 3 have worked in the restaurant industry for 3+ years, and have extensive server experience.

4) 10,000 FordPass credits - we'll be giving you an additional 10,000 FordPass credits, on top of the 22,000 that you get with the purchase of a Mach-E (unlike the 42,000 that everyone else gets). FordPass credits convert at a rate of $0.005 per point, so this will give you tremendous purchasing power with your Ford dealer. Use these extra points for a baseball cap, koozie, or Mach-E sticker whenever you want (points expire after 365 days if not used, and will revert to the dealership for their "Summer Extravaganza Picnic").

We at Ford thank you for your loyalty, and patience, and look forward to possibly delivering your vehicle in 2022.

Sincerely,

Darren Palmer
Dlobal Director of Battery Electric Vehicles Product Development

P.S. Of course if we have to divert production to a ZEV state, then all bets are off
P.P.S. Your car was shipped with BlueCruise. However, from the time the car was manufactured until the time it was shipped, we have renamed BlueCruise a few times. Therefore, your software won't work until PowerUp Spelling Update 59BC is applied by your dealer. Please contact your dealer and refer to the 59BC, and tell them to read all 43 pages.

Mines didnt' honor the price and played dumb. I threw this at them the next day, and now they are reviewing it, and even said that ford just sent out a new memo about some price protection or such. Claims to have been off and hadn't had time to review it yet. Still waiting for my $3k back. Print this out when you go.

Can you share your source for this document? My dealer is acting confused about the price protection stuff. He said today that the buyer has to present a certificate from Ford to receive the original price. I explained that my understanding is that Ford reimburses the dealer, not the buyer, for the price difference.

I'm still waiting too. Last email I got from Ford was my scheduled production date back in November. I think Ford is trying to ghost me. Guess my car being named Casper is becoming more appropriate as the days drag on. May have to go visit the dealership this weekend.

Have him look up the doc EFC09620 which is listed on top, or call the number at the bottom. This was shared to me by other members on Social Media groups. My GM is still looking into how to get me back $

Don't lose hope.
Received email this morning from Ford that my 2/26-3/4 delivery was moved to 3/22-3/28
Two hours later my salesman called and said my Mach-E arrived and can I pick it up Saturday morning!
That's crazy. We were also told last week our car was still in KC. Got an email from Ford yesterday pushing our delivery date from 3/6 to 3/26. Then got word today our car was at the dealer(!) I will have to keep following the action on this forum just to see how nutty things get when Ford ramps up BEV production to 600k/year in 2023 :)

Going to test drive an ionic 5 and tesla tomorrow. My estimated delivery is still end of May. The dealer sent me an email to tell me they hope to hear an update soon. I feel like I need to look at other options. The Lucid is nice but $$. Anyone else looking at other EVs?

I posted two reviews of the Tesla Model Y...one alone and one in a direct comparison between it and the MME. Feel free to read it ?. TL;DR, I massively preferred the MME.

I have not test driven anything else. I don't want an Ionic at all until they fix their back windshield issues. Kia looks appealing, but no charger and all dealers are charging ridiculous ADM on them around me.

We looked at the ID.4 and tried to look at the EV6 (but it sold before we got to the dealer). I just took a ride (didn't drive) in a Tesla X today.

So far, IMO, the Mustang is far and away the better vehicle.
