I’m guessing by 2am when the update was scheduled it was charged up to its set limit then?
I hit the update now button, so it did not wait until 2am to install, my charging normally started at 9pm and it was about 8:30 when I hit the update now button. Thus I assume that the charging occurred during or after the update.

Another item I lost was my charge locations - only had two, my house and the dealer, but they are also gone.

In another thread I see that one pedal drive seems like the only consistent item to be reset to factory.

Well I feel lucky it installed after reading issues other in the forum have been having. I wish the passenger door would open without first unlocking the car with the fob or opening another door - I know there is a fix at the dealer, but until I am ready for the recalls to be done (warm weather) I am dealing with the issue.

My dumb self went out to the car this morning to see if the next update after 2.4.2 was queued up already… you know, just in case. ?

sadly, it was not.

A couple of hints on expediting your trip up the 2.4/5 escalator:
  • Updates should be available roughly daily
  • Some may require driving while others just require turning on the car for a few minutes (real start, not remote)
  • If you can, use the "Update Now" option to start attempting the installs
  • Be sure to have autoupdate turned on and set an update time daily
  • If you drive the car for 30 minutes or so each day it should go faster
You don't have to do all of this, and certainly not daily driving to get to BlueCruise. However, these will help you get to BlueCruise faster.
