I thought it looked like bird crap...

We had a rock hit the F-150. One small crack, and several tiny marks that were the rest of the rock. Crack filled, tiny marks not filled.
I have had mine just over a month, already took a rock to the windshield. Super pleased. They came out and filled it but it looked like hammered crap. Probably going to have it replaced cause Safelite did not do a good job.

Safelite guarantees their repairs. And insurance companies guarantee the repairs that Safelite makes for them. The tech I've had twice now has been doing this for well over a decade. He put that F-150 windshield in on my driveway and did a perfect job.

Now that I know its bird crap, I dont know how I couldnt tell it was in the photo. the thing is, when I was checking it out at night I was scraping it with my finger nail and it wasnt coming off, it felt like deformed plastic.

I think these little marks/chips are too small and not deep enough to repair, my last lease they made me try to get them fixed and the glass shop said they were too shallow to drill and just put a little sealant over them so they felt repaired but said it wasnt needed.
