I'm seeing 3 notices for problems which have suddenly appeared in my FordPass app. FWIW, I've been trying to set the start code (for use when no key fob or PAAK is present) this afternoon with no luck. These problems weren't present this morning.

1. The Restraint Control system has detected a fault with the occupant classification system which includes the air bags and safety belt buckle pretensioners.

2. The tire pressure monitoring system has detected one or more tires are significantly under-inflated.

3. The Anti-lock Brake system has detected a fault and is disabled.

None of the tires is under-inflated.

Numbers 1 and 3 say to contact your authorized dealer as soon as possible. Of course it's Saturday evening, and the dealership won't be open until Monday.

Any ideas?

Do the notices appear in the car?
Are you using Bluetooth for anything else on your phone?
Restart your phone.

I don't see any alerts in the car. I'm not sure where they would be, but I can't find any. The car is definitely detecting whether or not the driver's seat belt is buckled. It's hard to tell if the anti-lock brakes are working.
The alerts in the FordPass app are here: Account -> Message Center. The alerts stay there until you delete them.
I restarted the phone, but nothing has changed.

Are you getting the 'system error' screen flash and disappear when you try to set the backup code?

No. It let me enter the code, but then said that either the key fob or phone was not present. Of course, they were both present in the car. And the phone was connected via Bluetooth. This happened multiple times, so I gave up!

OP, curious if you did anything about this or had any addition occurrences? I had this exact same sequence of errors today.

Nearly 9000 miles on my MME, and up until this week PaaK has been working pretty good for me 95% of the time (I'm fully up to date on iPhone and Fordpass). Recently I've had a couple instances were it wouldn't let me unlock, even if I have FordPass open on my phone. First time I used unlock button on Fordpass. Once inside, no issues PaaK was fine. Today, I used the door code to get in. Again, car started with Paak no concerns. Drive out to lunch, everything is great...except when I look at my phone Fordpass is blowing up with the 3 errors you have above. I'm assuming Fordpass gremlins, and nothing is really wrong with the car, but curious what you have found.

The dealer said it shouldn't be a problem if there were no error messages in the car. So I ignored these messages, and they have not come back.

These three errors just popped for me randomly, with it parked in the garage and on my charger.

Did anything come out of your experience? Or did it just go away and not appear again? @guinn what about you?

It has never appeared again. Did you get the errors in the FordPass app or in the car?

App only. And once I did I went out to the car and started it, and did not receive any faults or errors.

Gotta love FordPass. As reliable as a second cousin that owe’s you money. It may come around periodically but you can’t really count on a straight answer.

I would ignore it unless it appears in the car.
