Is it surprising that it is suggesting two stops for 232 miles when you’re starting with 77% charge? What would ABRP suggest for that same trip?
That made sense. At 77% my GOM was saying 120 miles and it was saying to charge to 80% at each stop and that I would arrive with 11%. I’m sure if I had started at 100% it would have adjusted.

Updating to 15.4 right now, and cannot wait to try this when I go to lunch today. I have been waiting for this for a LONG time - since it was announced and I got my Mach E. Great news!

Still waiting on 2.3!!! Last update (one that switched volume control from vertical bottom to horizontal top) I was about 2 weeks behind the initial cars getting the update. This feels like it has been more than 2 weeks. I just came back from a 5 day trip where I left the car plugged in and in wifi range (not sure that matters); and bubkis upon my retrun yesterday. Still Patiently Waiting.......

I tried the Apple Maps routing out this morning. While its nice to see the big mapping apps start to integrate EV routing this is still a very basic product with very few bells and whistles. While its easy to use there are no options for choosing the types of chargers you want to use or the network. In fact you can’t make any choices at all. It puts in the EV stops and that’s the end of it. You can’t change them at all. It also gives you no information about the status of the chargers or any nearby amenities. It looks like the only way to even see the list of chargers is to scroll through the entire turn list to get to each one.
The built in MME routing software isn’t perfect but its much better than this option in my opinion.

I would love to use this but my car is stuck on failed 1.7.1 update and I’ve gotten no new updates since 1.6. Dealer has been zero help, Ford has been silent and not helpful. Very disappointed in the cars software.

New today! Apple released EV Maps Routing with iOS 15.4. Apple Maps EV Routing supports planning your long electric vehicle journeys via CarPlay in your Mustang Mach-E. Apple Maps will use your iPhone to read vehicle and battery data when connected to CarPlay and assist you on your journey by adding chargers into your trip as necessary.

This feature is available on all 2022 Model Year Mustang Mach-E and 2021 Model Year Mustang Mach-E with updated SYNC software. Learn more about the feature and confirm if you have the applicable SYNC software version here.

This is great news, like so many, I've been waiting for Apple Maps to integrate EV Charging Stations. I entered a route in both my Apple Maps App and FordPass Trip Planner. The charging locations/stops are different, I wonder where Apple pulls their charging stations from? I may be missing this, but I do not see SOC when you get to a charging station/final destination. I like this information on the FordPass Trip Planner. Someone did mention it would be nice to have the flexibility to modify charging locations, I would also like to modify the % you want to charge to (more options available like you have in ABRP). I am looking forward to trying this new feature when I take an actual trip requiring charging stops.

Updated iOS this morning. Maps gave me three options for my drive to work, with estimated travel time and charge level on arrival for each. The route I took said I would arrive with 80% charge, and i actually arrived with 81%. Not bad!

Bad news: I *still* got the Low EV Battery warning in Apple Maps when I turned off the car.

Got my phone updated and it looks like I am good to go! Mapped out the road trip I did last year and it came up with all EA stations based on my current charge level of 80%. On an actual road trip I would start at 100%.

Looking forward to this! We have 2.3 in the car but don’t have 15.4 on our phones yet.
I installed it last night, it’s pretty cool! So glad we’ve finally got this feature that Apple promised a couple years ago
