OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating?

There we go! Mine has been there since Monday actually for the EVSE light that we talked about, and software updates. TSB came out Tuesday, and they apparently had a call with the Ford tech hotline on Wednesday. Hopefully this was covered, and they advised them what to do. I emailed this morning asking about this TSB. Let's see...

I haven't heard anything back from my dealership since I mentioned this to them yesterday. It just happened to be fate that I took my car in to be looked at when this news hit the next day. I told them to keep it and keep working on it since I work from home. Hopefully hear some good news today??

Hope so, I made my 10K appointment this morning and the service person said there was modules that needed to be updated on my car. Never had a service person say that. In the past, I always had to educate them on these updates. Crossing my fingers!

Update...talked with the Service Department at my Dealership this morning. They had just gotten the TSB and would not be ready to do it this Monday for my appointment. Re-scheduled until April 6th so they can make sure they have all the equipment needed and their software updated. While that could happen faster, I believe they want time to understand the procedure better. I am okay with that.

I have had the update (so they said and Its on the paperwork they gave me). However I still have the 1.7.1 showing with the update button greyed out and no notes.
There is a difference that the whisper is now at the top of the mode page and not in the middle. So something has changed. Also the GOM is more optimistic 222 miles with 91% (this could be just a reset I guess).

This does raise an interesting question, from reading the TSB, there wasn't a verification step that I could find, something like "verify update button can be toggled on/verify that software version is now displaying"

If you don’t have a sync version the you probably aren’t updated? I don‘t have one and mine is not. I had one before they tried to do the update. Can you toggle your auto update switch on? I can’t!

I hate to say it, but take it back. They didn’t fix it.

Either the dealer botched it, or the fix does not work universally. Either way, the dealer and Ford need to know.

You got the new TSB already?

Yes I gave them the update notice number and they said it was done. I just picked the car up this afternoon from Ford. It was in the dealer for the recall when this notice was shown here.

No, this fixes the issue and allows it to them get updates OTA

so, guys this is very odd, my dealer called me yesterday and they said that when they put my vin in their system it shows that the TSB 22-2117 isn't applicable for my vehicle...

any ideas why? I'm def stuck since November on 1.6 and I have all the symptoms.
