I tried out the TeslaTap MINI 60 AMP today with a Tesla Wall/Destination charger at a local apartment complex. My car charged fine from the Tesla charger, but the connection between the Tesla charger and the TeslaTap was really tight. Probably should have gotten a few tubes of the CHEMPLEX© 862 Silicone Lubricant (Dielectric) as recommended by Dave at TeslaTap.

I bought the Lectron. We have 8 tesla wall chargers at work and it only works with 2 of the chargers. Of course it is the 2 that are the furthest from my office. Lecton said they will ship me a replacement but that they have never had a fault unit or a return. We'll see if they actually send me a new unit.

Now that you say that it occurs to me that my first TeslaTap came with a little lubricant packet for this very reason, but this one didn't. I hadn't even thought about it until now.
