Did anyone get a second, ”your order has changed” email from ford after there dealer removed the Active Park Assist? I noticed that Active Park Assist 2.0 was removed from the Additional Features section when I check my order online, not sure if its the same across the board, or only updates once your dealer removes the feature.
Yep, got the "order has changed" email and many days later, my additional features list still had active parking assist 2.0 listed. I think there is no joy in Mudville.

Ordered an eAWD Premium Ice White edition on 10/1. Hadn’t heard much of anything until a couple of days ago, when the dealer reached out to tell me that the Park Assist 2.0 had to be removed in order to proceed. He stated that Ford will offer to install it a later date. I noticed that my priority code went from 19 to 01 when I agreed to remove the Park Assist. Not sure if that means production will be accelerated or not. I’m miffed about lacking an option on a car this expensive but I suppose these are the times we live in. Who knows if Ford will ever install it and what they will charge for it.

How did you see your priority code?

The dealer sent me the pre-order page and it had the code at the top. For some reason they wanted me to sign anywhere on the page to accept the removal of the Park Assist.

I’m still confused about this despite reading through the thread (though in bits and pieces). If I have a build date for the week of 4/11 for my ‘22 Premium AWD ER do I need to worry about this?

I thought maybe not but then a bunch of people in the 3/14 build week had it unilaterally removed after their vehicle went down the production line (window sticker had to be reissued to note the substitution of the prep kit). We may or may not get it, and we will have no choice it seems.

Thanks. So is the only way to know if it’s an issue with our car (assuming we haven’t been contacted) is if we call our dealer?

Maybe but I doubt the dealer will know anything more since we have already been scheduled for production with Park Assist included (not prep kit). The two things I'd monitor are:
1- Your Ford account reservation status - Park Assist should still be listed under "Additional Features" (it is for me) and
2) When your window sticker comes out the week before your production week it should mention whether Park Assist prep kit has been swapped in and will include a $325 deduction if so. If they build your car and then decide they don't have the Park Assist chips they may even reissue your window sticker to pull it from your build like they did for a bunch of 3/14 folks.

Hmm, I don’t see Park Assist listed anywhere. I can’t recall if it was ever there.

This is where it is for me-- if it's not there for you, I suppose your dealer might be able to clarify. Of course, Selects without the Comfort/Tech package and GT's without the 360 camera never had Park Assist, but I don't think you fall into that category.

Thanks. I looked on the sheet my dealer sent me originally and had me sign and I don’t see it there either. There is a reference to equipment group 300A on my dealer’s order form and on my Ford.com page I also see an entry for 300A. Not sure what that means but I assume it is the package of features that comes with the Premium AWD ER.

I’ve been reading that they took away active park assist 2.0 the reason I am wondering is I ordered premium AWD extended range back November that was just built and window sticker still shows active park assist on it and description of the build ticket they sent yesterday still shows as being installed

The change is for Job 2 cars which starts production in May. Anything produced before that will have the full feature.
